Amazon New Finds

Earlier this year Amazon was relaunching a new storefront to highlight new finds and trending products. The challenge was that research showed online shopping is leading to choice overload with shoppers having difficulty finding the best products, even on Amazon.

With that in mind we needed a design system to make choice easier underpinned by discovery and inspiration.

Who doesn’t love a biscuit? While there might be a few who don’t, these delightful treats are sugar-free and absolutely moreish. And over a quick 2 day shoot not only did we consume a fair few but we also got the opportunity to bring the brands playful characteristics to life, introducing bright and joyous coloured backdrops with bold product shadows to create a distinctive brand look.

PALOMA SUMMER

Patrón wanted to disrupt traditional summer drink choices and increase its presence in the super-premium drinks market. By expanding tequila drinking occasions and focusing on delivering a seamless customer experience, with the grapefruit Paloma as the centre of the activation.

B&Q had a big sale on paint and flooring - and with sales for the year down, a lot was riding on it. The problem is, does anyone really pay attention to paint and flooring sales ads on TV? We solved the problem with a little help from the Lone Ranger. The William Tell overture hooked viewers' ears and eyes, and a little twist on the iconic B&Q strapline landed the message. The result? B&Q sold enough paint to fill several Olympic-sized swimming pools.

With no new news, CooperVision needed to position its Biofinity family of contact lenses front of mind amongst eye care practitioners, defending against its main rival 'Total 30'.

The Idea:
As a result, we came up with 'equality for eyes' which is centered around the belief that everyone deserves the best for their eyes.

Every patient, regardless of their vision correction needs, deserves the choice of contact lenses. And everyone, regardless of their circumstances, deserves access to eye care. Which is why we wanted to take the idea further and create a CSR initiative. Launched in 2022, in partnership with Optometry Giving Sight and Vision Aid Overseas, CooperVision will contribute £50,000 earned from the sale of Biofinity products to help improve vision care in Ghana.

Fitting in with Selfridges Christmas ‘Constellation’ theme and partnering with Prop Studios we created a beautiful Nebulae in the shape of the Patrón bottle, rotating and glittering in the night sky all with the help of 800 suspended LED lights to create an artistic light installation which embodies the spirit of Patrón.

Dr Vegan is a supplement brand that wants to make it easier to be more vegan.
Easier to make vegan choices. Easier to support your health. And easier to look after the planet.

We needed to show that, whatever your lifestyle, being more vegan can help improve your health and the environment. So we created a new font that felt warm and friendly, coupled with a new brand look that centred around the product itself to simply depict what we wanted to say.

But, what if together we could create a shoe that is 100% biodegradable, that uses 100% plant based materials, that are animal free with zero plastics so you could simply plant them in the garden, reducing the carbon footprint and giving back to nature.

We were asked to create a new look and feel for a national lifeguard appeal, with the aim of driving donations for lifeguard training.

Targeting small local businesses who hold an interest in their particular beach resort we developed ‘Without you, there is no us’; a campaign designed to highlight the fact that without donations, there will be no RNLI.

As a result we developed a hard hitting distinctive typographical approach which uses the lifeguard to highlight that without you, there really is no RNLI.

Martin’s Chocolatier crafts some of the finest chocolates, using only the best ingredients sourced from around the world. Their latest confectionery range is no exception. The brief? To design a fresh look, a compelling product story, and packaging for three new products. Our solution? We brought the forests of Peru straight to Nottinghamshire!

After eight years of holding its ground in the speciality tea market and helping grow the business into a successful and sustainable tea company it was time for a brand refresh that celebrates and champions the brands’ rich Sri Lankan story. Taking the initial concept and the illustrators art direction I created 52 individually illustrated mandalas and packs that bring to life each blends’ individual ingredients and flavour profiles across the brands core, wellness and super product ranges.

For the launch of the Roberts Radio R-Line model we took how people celebrate music and created an integrated campaign that led with twists on iconic musical lyrics. From ‘Her name is Rio' and 'She dances in the lounge, kitchen and study', to 'Welcome to the kitchen, jungle and study'; we created a campaign that everyone could relate to. And then we rolled it out across print, OOH, Digital, POS and video.

DESTINY 2 - TRAVEL FREE

Bungie were gearing up to launch Destiny 2: Free to play and they needed a big idea to bring the epic story, cinematic gameplay and vast open world to an even bigger audience. With the world in lockdown due to covid, the campaign positioned Destiny 2 as the ultimate all-inclusive escape.

CooperVision’s OptiExpert app allows people to make the right contact lens choices through smart technology that converts sphere, toric, multifocal or toric multifocal prescriptions into contact lens prescriptions all from the freedom of their mobile device .

They wanted a creative approach and messaging that quickly got across that with OptiExpert you can expect fast easy fitting at your fingertips.

Patrón has big ambitions. To become the No.1 premium tequila in every country and change the perception of tequila as a shot drink. We were tasked with helping them achieve this. The Perfectionists campaign was born. At the heart of it was one of the world’s largest cocktail competitions used to find the finest bartenders, who can make the perfect cocktail with Patrón tequila. It well and truly put the brand on the drinks map. And due to its huge success in the UK, was rolled out in over 30 other countries across six continents.

Following on from the successful UK launch of Ignite’s CBD brand ‘Life’s better in the Ignited Kingdom’, which showcased the product's benefits of bringing calmness to busy modern lives; Ignite approached us once again and set us the challenge of driving online engagement through an OOH campaign that heroed the product but also had a connection to the much loved Union Jack from the launch campaign.

New range of new Japanese tea packaging and book with serving suggestions and brand history for the guys at ISSA Tea.

The name ‘Issa’ comes from one of Japan’s most prolific poets, Kobayashi Issa, famous for writing over 20,000 one-breath poems known as ‘haiku’, each one often evoking images of the natural world. Which is something we used to tell each blends story using beautiful watercolour brushstroke illustrations.
